Maui memories

Well Menagerie opened. As I've said before the process was blissful and I'm as proud of this show as anything I've ever done. It was one of those very special experiences that you try to cherish as they're happening because they don't happen every day.

The day after opening I headed here:

The Ritz Carlton on Maui. It was a vacation of sleeping, reading, swimming in the ocean, and tanning on the beach--- perfect!

I then stopped back in San Diego to see the show once again and say goodbye (for now) to that perfect cast.

It's been too long I know

It's been ages since I've posted I know. I am currently in sunny San Diego at the amazing Old Globe directing The Glass Menagerie with a killer cast made up of Mare Winningham, Michael Simpson, Michelle Federer, and Kevin Isola. It's been an absolutely blissful process. The play is extraordinary and the cast is a dream-- shockingly talented and beautifully collaborative. Tea on balcony every morning doesn't hurt. We start tech on Tuesday. Hoping to post some pictures soon.
